Another Saturday started at 6:30 am as we were catching the first train to the mountain.
Upon arrival we noticed slightly more people than our last visit. Oh yeah, Year of the Pig - also known as Chinese New Year - a week long celebration of fireworks and a 4-day weekend (man they do public holidays right in this part of the world).
It was sunny and had to be at least 40 degrees - which felt like 80 degrees with long-johns and winter clothing on.
We rode all day, waited in line for 20 minutes to take the gondola back down to the train station at the end of the day and picked up some ice cold beers for medicinal purposes (works so much better than aspirin).
Chris went with good old Sapporo, Nicole selected her brew based on the happy face on the can - turned out to be pretty good.
