Near our apartment is Icho-Namiki street, which is also known as Maidenhair Tree Avenue. The street is lined on both sides with beautiful, tall and very well-manicured ginkgo trees. In the fall, their leaves turn a beautiful shade of yellow (hence the name maidenhair tree). By mid-November they were at their peak for peeping so we ran over with our camera to take a look.
